2008 Undergraduate Summer Workshop

The 2008 Undergraduate Summer Workshop will be held June 6-8, 2008 at the Delaware Outdoor Adventure Center in Winsted, CT. All Chapter Presidents, Treasurers and Affiliate Educators are required to attend.

Undergraduate sisters who would like to attend Summer Workshop in addition to the required officers, may do so at an additional cost of $85 per person.

ΚΔΦ NAS Alumnae Association is Calling All Angels

Calling All Angels is the name of a song by Jane Siberry, but it is also the name of ΚΔΦ NAS Alumnae Association’s latest endeavor. On April 4th, the ΚΔΦ NAS Alumnae Association’s Executive Board, at the urging of President, Susan Dyer Taylor (KM 75), unanimously agreed to establish the Calling All Angels Fund.

The Calling All Angels Fund will provide financial assistance to ΚΔΦ NAS sisters and ΚΔΦ brothers who have suffered a significant life change due to illness, loss of a job, death of a loved one or natural disaster.

1st Annual Lucy Duff Memorial Volleyball Tournament

Kappa Eta Alumnae Association is pleased to announce the 1st Annual Lucy Duff Memorial Volleyball Tournament. Taking a cue from the Eta brothers, Kappa Eta looks to honor one of their sisters who has passed.

Lucy was a beloved sister (1954-2006) who was very passionate about teaching. Fittingly, the proceeds from the volleyball tournament will support a scholarship in Lucy’s name. The scholarship will be awarded to an undergraduate Kappa Eta sisters at the discretion of the Kappa Eta Alumnae Association.

ΚΔΦ NAS Alumnae Association Supports The Make A Wish Foundation

ΚΔΦ NAS Alumnae Association is please to support the Maine Chapter of the Make A Wish Foundation as its primary philanthropy for 2008. The portable Wishing Well, created by Wanda Goodwin, Kappa Eta Chapter alumnae and ΚΔΦ NAS Alumnae Association Treasurer, made its debut at the 2008 National Convention. The Wishing Well will be available throughout the summer months to any chapter or organization interested in contributing to the cause. Please contact Wanda Goodwin for scheduling.
