As of January 2019, we have a total of 13 Active Chapters, & 2 Colonies through New England and Beyond.
Our first Chapter was Kappa Lambda, at Husson University in Bangor Maine. It was founded back in 1971.
Before the formal establishment of Kappa Delta Phi NAS, we had three Sororities that were founded by our Fraternity counterpart, Kappa Delta Phi. They were Kappa Beta Sorority, Kappa Phi Sorority, and Kappa Omega Sorority. Kappa Beta was located at Salem State College, in Salem, MA. Kappa Phi Sorority was founded at the University of Maine in Augusta. Lastly, Kappa Omega Sorority was founded at Unity College in Unity Maine.
We raised $17,000.00 for our National Philanthropy, Alzheimer's Association, in the 2017-2018 Academic School year alone.
Our most Northern Chapter is Kappa Rho, at The University of Maine at Fort Kent. Our most Southern is Kappa Alpha Iota, at Shippensburg University in Shippensburg, PA.
The sorority's business endeavors are carried out solely by volunteer alumnae.
